Planned Parenthood Young Leaders (PPYL) is a group of energized twenty and thirty-somethings who have united to share their talents and spirit. By activating Iowa’s next generation of family planning leaders we hope to ensure safe, affordable and unblocked access to reproductive education, health care and advocacy for all.

Donations are important to us—they help pay for health care services that some of our patients could not afford to pay for by themselves. Donations also support our important education services which focus on prevention of teen pregnancy.

Volunteers are important, too. Their work, which includes supporting clinic staff in our 17 centers and running two annual book sales, puts a face on PPGI in the communities we serve.

Advocates for PPGI are another important part of what makes this agency thrive. Advocates are people interested in the political process. They support issues such as reproductive rights and access to health care for people of all income levels—and they contact political candidates and elected officials to let them know their views.
