Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa’s (PPGI) Education and Resource Center (ERC) offers age-appropriate and research-based programs in reproductive health, human development and sexuality education for youth and adults in a variety of settings. 

The ERC is also proud to have Iowa’s most comprehensive collection of sexuality education materials at the Des Moines center. Looking for a book, a video or a pamphlet? The ERC is the best place to find anything you may need to know about sexuality.

How is the ERC Funded?

PPGI education and outreach efforts are supported around the state by two book sales, held in the spring and fall of each year. The sales, which feature a combined total of over 600,000 books and other items, raise $300,000 annually to support the work of educators throughout Iowa in their teaching and outreach efforts.
