June's featured items in our library
Video: Testicular Cancer and the Importance of TSE This video raises viewer awareness and presents important information for adolescent males and young men. This program explains that while any man can develop the condition, with early detection and treatment, testicular cancer is highly curable. Featuring comments from a urologist and a demonstration of testicular self-examination, this video emphasized that TSE is the key to early detection.
Book: In Their Own Right: Addressing the Sexual and Reproductive Health Needs of American Men In recent years, awareness has grown of the need to address the sexual and reproductive behaviors and health of men. This recognition reflects the advent of HIV and the critical role of condom use in preventing sexually transmitted diseases, concerns about the roles of men in teenage pregnancies and births and the failure of many divorced and unmarried fathers to fulfill their parental responsibilities.
